Threatens police to abstain or face ‘similar pain’
SRINAGAR: Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) Tuesday condemned the police storming into the house of a slain militant Majid Zargar.
In a statement issued to news agency KNS, the LeT chief, Mahmood Shah termed the incident as an “act of violence and on elderly” and described it “as inhumane and shameful.”
“India won’t bear any fruit by imposing violence on the family members of the martyred and this will only fuel the freedom struggle,” he said, adding that “the freedom struggle of Kashmir is being written by the educated youth of the Valley who have not only witnessed the brutality of Indian aggression but have borne the loss of the beloved ones, who fell victim to Indian atrocities.”
“The local police may also go through this pain if they didn’t abstain from their acts of brutality. Beware that the martyred and their beloved family members are our honor and we won’t bear any loss to them,” Shah said.
