4 militants killed after attack on CRPF camp in north Kashmir: Police

Srinagar: Four militants were killed after they attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Sumbal town of Bandipora district in North Kashmir Monday, police said.
Earlier the militant has attacked the CRPF camp of 45th Battalion at Sumbal.
Police said that there was indiscriminate firing on the camp, which is the Headquarter of 45th Battalion of the CRPF in North Kashmir.
The identity of the slain militants was yet to be ascertained, he said adding the operation was still going on.
Confirming the incident and the killing of four militants, J&K DGP Shesh Paul Vaid tweeted, “45 Bn @crpfindia/@JmuKmrPolice killed 4 terrorists at Sumbal #Bandipore who were attempting suicidal attack on CRPF camp.”
