Students clash with forces in Palhalan

Srinagar: Students of Government Higher Secondary School, Palhalan Pattan clashed with forces on Monday during a protest march, sources said.
Local sources said the students started marching amidst pro-freedom and anti-India slogans however they were intercepted by government forces triggering clashes.
They added that forces resorted to tear smoke shelling against stone pelting students creating panic in the area.
Student protests have become common in Kashmir since April 17 after at least 60 college students were injured in force’s action in south Kashmir’s Pulwama on April 15.
