Baramulla: Justice Ali Mohammad Magray of the J&K High Court, who is also the administrative judge for district Baramulla, visited different courts in the district Thursday.
Justice Magrey first visited the old court complex Boniyar in border town Uri and then proceeded to new court complex Boniyar where he took stock of the ongoing works of court complex Boniyar. He also issued on spot directions to PWD department for expeditious completion of the court complex.
Justice Magray then visited the district court complex Baramulla where a warm welcome was given by district bar association and staff of judiciary.
Justice Magrey directed the judicial officers to dispose of the matters expeditiously to come up to the expectations of the general public. Clear instructions were issued for disposal of pending matters with emphasis on disposal of old pending cases by listing such matters on priority.
The judicial officers were also told to refer maximum cases for getting benefit of ADRS at an earliest without wasting time and money.
Justice Magray sought information on use of technology under e-Courts project and directed that this technology must be taken benefit of for speedy disposal of cases such as for service of process through various software applications as customized by e-Committee Supreme Court of India. He said that this shall ensure transparency in judiciary and shall provide easy online information for the common masses.
