Srinagar: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen has threatened joint resistance leaders through a video clip viral on social media.
Hiz bul Mujahideen Commander, Zakir Musa has openly threatened joint resistance leaders for terming the Kashmir issue as political.
“Some days back the joint resistance leaders issued a statement saying Kashmir struggle is political and it has nothing to do with religion,” a man taken as Hizb commander, Zakir says in the clip adding “we just want to ask these political hypocrites if Kashmir is a political issue why are you raising slogans like ‘Azadi Ka Matlab Kya. La Illaha Ilallah’, ‘Pakistan Say Rishta Kya. La Illaha Ilallah’. Why do you come and address people in mosques?”
“We warn these Hurriyat people not to interfere in our matters and remain with their dirty politics otherwise we will cut their heads and hang them in Lal Chowk,” Zaikr is heard threatening pro-freedom leaders openly.
“Hum kuffar ko chod kar pehley aap ko latkayain gay… Lal Chowk mein galay katain gay…” the Hizb commander says in his message.
“I am not an ulema, but the scholars here are corrupt… fearful of tagoot that they may be imprisoned, that is why we have to come forward,” he says, quoting a verse from the Qur’an. “They are only political leaders and they can’t be our leaders,” he says.
Pertinently, Zakir was a close aide of former Hizb commander, Burhan Wani.
After Burhan’s killing in July 2016, Hizb announced Zakir as his successor.
