BSF soldier injured as India, Pak exchange fire along IB

Srinagar: A Border Security Force (BSF) soldier was injured Friday as India and Pakistan yet again trade fire along International Border (IB) in Jammu, media reports said.
The cross firing took place between 7-7:30 AM in Arnia sector.
Yesterday too, India and Pakistan exchanged shelling in Jammu & Kashmir’s Nowshera sector. A 35-year-old woman was killed and her husband injured in mortar shelling by Pakistani troops. Another civilian was also killed on Pakistan side.
Pertinently, after every such incident along the LoC or IB, both New Delhi and Islamabad accuse each other of violating the ceasefire which is in place since 2003.
