Clashes erupt in north Kashmir’s Sopore

Srinagar: The students of Boy’s Higher Secondary School, Sopore Thursday pelted stones on forces personnel deployed on the gate of the school triggering clashes, sources said.
They said that a forces party had been deployed on the main gate of the school which annoyed the students who started protesting by raising pro-freedom slogans and pelting stones.
The forces, local sources said fired tear smoke shells on protesting students creating chaos in the area.
Soon the students of the Degree College also joined the Higher Secondary Students hence intensifying protests, sources said.
Pertinently, Students community in Kashmir is protesting since April 15 after at least 60 college students were injured in force’s action in Pulwama.
