GANDERBAL: Momento Cricket Club Watlar clinched the title trophy of Ganderbal Champions league by trouncing RB Manigam with 77 runs in the final played at Benhama Cricket ground in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Batting first after winning the toss MCC Watlar put a formidable total of 193 runs on the board in their allotted 20 overs. Middle order batsman played a blistering 41 ball knock scoring quick fire 93 with some lusty hits.
In reply, R.B Manigam, had a poor start as they lost quick wickets none of their batsmen was able to put a decent show with the willow and RB Manigam was bundled out for 116 runs
M.C.C Watlar medium pacer  Ishfaq Ahmad, was he pick of the bowler claiming a hat-trick in his second over and conceded  just 10 runs in his three overs.
Mudasir Ahmad was adjudged Man of the Match for his belligerent batting show, while Suhial Ahmad was adjudged man of the series scoring 265 runs and took 15 wickets in the tournament.
