CRPF fire pellets at teenager

Qazigund shuts in protest
Srinagar: A 13-year-old boy was injured after the CRPF troops fired at him in Churrat village of Qazigund in Kulgam district on Saturday.
Locals told Kashmir Reader that a handicapped boy Zeeshan Ahmad son of Feroz Ahmad Shah was injured after the government forces passing through the area fired pellets at him.
Medical superintendent of Qazigund hospital Dr Syed Mirji Andrabi told Kashmir Reader that Zeeshan had received pellets in his chest and arm. The doctor said injured was referred to district hospital Anantnag for further treatment. Soon after the incident, protests erupted in the area against the forces. Entire market in Qazigund town and Churrat villages shut down in protest while demanding action against the guilty CRPF men.
