SRINAGAR: Recent Internet gag will be back breaking to most of startup, most of startup used to promote their products online via Facebook and other social networking site.
Consortium of Young industrialists in stemenst issued on Thursday said that social network site are easy, cheap source and medium of advertisement. This social networking was proving immense support for startup and the products on offer.
Adding that majority of startup where promoted online via social network, even offline business where shifting to online social advertisement.
However with the government’s recent internet gag will end most these startup in no time and making whole young community more skeptical about starting business in Kashmir and the financial institution even more skeptical in investing in these startup.
Mir Saqib president of the consortium said that at the time when whole of India is having online startup boom, Kashmir’s is being derailed and more from businesess will suffer over the coming days
“Given that one cannot use email, internet banking, online tools and u cant share data with your channel partner ,I m very uncertain how business community can survive this time,” he said .
The consortium said that with usage of internet common for online submitting VAT and CST by the business community, it felt that ban have an effect on urge the government to extend the period of online VAT submission by one month.
It said that the ban is a direct attack on the bread and butter of startups and governments must take initiatives to resolve the rea l issues to establish peace.
