Civilian injured in army firing in Shopian village

Shopian: A civilian was injured after an army patrol opened fire in Manloo village of Shopian district on Monday evening after observing  suspicious movement in the area, reports said.
The injured civilian has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Teeli. He has been admitted to Bone and Joint Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.
A senior police officer told Kashmir Reader that militants fired upon security forces in Manloo Shopian after which the troops opened fire. One civilian was hit by a bullet in his leg and he has been identified as Shabir Ahmad Teli, police said.
