Protest shutdown in Bijbehara area against army

Anantnag: The severe thrashing of a boy allegedly by the army men last evening triggered protests and shutdown in Kanelwon area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir on Saturday.
All the shops and other business establishments are shut in the area in protest against what the locals called highhandedness of army.
Locals told Kashmir Reader that the army men from a nearby camp last evening allegedly thrashed a boy identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Teli following the altercation over some issue. He was taken to nearby hospital where he received seven stitches in his head, they said.
