Women protesters pelt stones on two schools in Shopian village

Srinagar: Women protesters Tuesday pelted stones on two schools in Turkwangam village of Shopian district and compelled them to close their institutions in protest against use of forces against students.
Eye witnesses told Kashmir Reader that women protesters, who were protesting against the forces action on college and school students, pelted stones on two private schools and damaged a vehicle of Islamic Scientific Day boarding school.
Later, the school authorities closed the said schools.
Meanwhile, women students of University of Kashmir held protest demonstration in the university premises against what they called highhandedness of the men in uniform.
Pertinently, authorities had ordered closure of all varsities and colleges of the valley Kashmir for today after massive protests of students yesterday.
