Students hold protest in Degree College Ganderbal, Kangan

Ganderbal: A protest was held by the students of Government Degree College Ganderbal and Degree College Kangan, on Monday against the use of forces on their colleagues in Degree College Pulwama last week.
Large number of students of twin colleges including girls, boycotted their classes and assembled in the collage premises and raised pro-freedom and slogans against the high handedness of police in Pulwama.
Protesting students of GDC Ganderbal told Kashmir Reader “the world Human Rights Organisations like Amnesty International should take notice of the happenings in Kashmir and of the reign of terror let loose by the ruthless forces against students besides pressurise India to stop human rights violations in the region.”
Students said that they staged a protest to show solidarity and support for the students of GDC Pulwama, were at least 54 students including girl students were injured in force’s action.
