In solidarity with bereaved families, Sikh body appeals to celebrate Besakhi with simplicity

Srinagar: All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) on Tuesday appealed all the Sikh brethren to celebrate Besakhi in a simple manner to express their solidarity with the majority community following the recent killing of eight civilians in the central Kashmir.
Expressing joy and happiness over the festival of Besakhi that is being celebrated on 13th April 2017, APSCC in a statement expressed hope that the festival of Besakhi would be harbinger of peace and prosperity in the State.
