No shutdown tomorrow: Resistance leaders

Srinagar: The Joint resistance leadership has withdrawn the call of shutdown for south Kashmir on Wednesday in view of the postponement of by-elections to the Anantnag parliamentary constituency.
Hurriyat (G) Spokesman Ayaz Akbar told Kashmir Reader that the shutdown call for Wednesday has been withdrawn keeping in view the postponement of the by-polls.
The by-polls were postponed till May 25 yesterday by Election Commission of India following very less voter turnout in Srinagar parliamentary constituency and killing of eight civilians by forces during protests and clashes on the polling day on Sunday.
