Srinagar by-poll: 3 killed, many hurt in clashes

Srinagar: Three persons were killed in government forces actions in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Sunday amid protests against the polling for Srinagar seat of Indian Parliament.
A police officer said two civilians Mohammad Abbas and 15-year-old Faizaan Ahmad Rather were killed in Dalwan village of Budgam district in central Kashmir.
Sources said one more person namely Nisar Ahmad was killed in force’s action at Rathsuna area of Budgam district.
The area was under complete lockdown when reports last came in.
A woman namely Shaheena was wounded in government forces’ firing at Beerwah in Budgam.
