Two residential houses damaged in Budgam

Budgam: A family had a narrow escape on Thursday when a two-storey residential house was completely collapsed after it was hit by a walnut tree at Batpora Drung village of Khag tehsil in central Kashmir’s Budgam district officials said.
Tehsildar Khag Basharul Haq told Kashmir Reader that a walnut tree fell over the residential house of Nazir Ahmad Para, after it was uprooted and it damaged the building completely.
“All the inmates are safe,” Haq said.
Meanwhile, a residential house of Mohammad Altaf was hit by a landslide when a protection wall was collapsed in Bhat Mohalla area of Dreygam in Khansahab area of Budgam.
