SKUAST-Kashmir to host National Livestock Symposium in May

SRINAGAR: Division of Livestock Production Management, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, SKUAST-Kashmir is organising ‘National Symposium on Livestock Resource Management under Changing Climate Scenario’ in May. The symposium is sponsored by a national scientific body named Indian Society of Animal Production and Management (ISAPM).
Eminent scientists of National and International repute from across the country shall speak on specific theme areas.
According to the organising secretary, Prof. M. T. Banday, “the national symposium shall provide a platform to scientists, research scholars, planners, field functionaries, farmers and other stakeholders to discuss and deliberate upon the issues concerning livestock and poultry production”.
Dr Banday further said that the three day event will also provide an opportunity to young scientists, PG scholars and field veterinarians to directly interact with the veteran animal science experts”.
Veterinarians, Subject Matter Specialists and Officers working in the line development departments and related fields interested to participate in the symposium have to register by or before 15th of this month.
