Srinagar: Stating that generations in Kashmir have suffered because of the historic blunders and betrayals of National Conference in connivance with its convenient partners, Peoples Democratic Party leader and in-charge Srinagar parliamentary constituency Molvi Imran Reza Ansari today censured the National Conference-Congress combine for what it described as its communal rhetoric.
Casting aspersions over whether Farooq Abdullah can even recite six `Kalimaahs` himself, Ansari expressed dismay over the blatant use of communally divisive rhetoric and use of religion to garner votes and seeks votes for “Kalimah”.
He said that people have given enough chances to Abdullah and he has time and again betrayed their trust by indulging in warmongering and has only been a strong votary of violence, death and destruction.
“Because of NC and Congress, Jammat-e-Islamia, Peoples Conference, Awami Action Committee and others where alienated who once were a part of the election process. The parties should be held accountable for this political error which has ever since left trail of destruction behind and the state continues to reel under violence and instability,” Ansari said.
Ansari further asked Farooq to explain how could an alliance with BJP merely to get Omar Abdullah inducted in union council of minister be fine for NC and the same be a sin when PDP does it to secure peace and prosperity for the state.
