Joint Resistance Leaders call for shutdown on Wednesday

Srinagar: Joint Resistance Leaders, including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik Tuesday called for a complete shutdown on Wednesday against Chadoora civilian killings.
The leaders while condemning force’s action in Chadoora village also appealed people to hold protests after Friday prayers against it.
Two youths, Zahid Rashid and Aamir Fayaz were killed in force’s actions in Zuin village of Budgam district after clashes erupted in the area during a gunfight between forces and protesters.
At least 17 more civilians sustained injuries during the clashes.
A militant was also killed in the encounter.
