Vigilance arrest JAKEDA Chief Executive officer

Srinagar: The Vigilance Organisation on Tuesday arrested the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) in an alleged case of misappropriation of funds.
Shafqat Sultan, CEO JAKEDA was arrested after an investigation found him guilty in buying solar lights at exorbitant rates, thereby causing loss to the state exchequer.
Tendering process was also violated to favour a particular agency, sources said adding he was found guilty in a FIR number 10/ 2015.
