Srinagar: Militants on Saturday evening attacked a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district with grenades and automatic weapons however there were no immediate reports of any casualty.
SSP Pulwama Mohammed Rayees told Kashmir Reader that militants attacked CRPF camp in Tahab village of Pulwama.
Sources said that militants resorted to indiscriminate firing towards 182nd battalion of CRPF camp at Tahab in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. They also lobbed many grenades towards the camp
CRPF men retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for some time, they said.
Local sources said that panic gripped the whole area as extra forces personnel were seen rushing towards Tahab.
