Pulwama clashes; 12 referred to Srinagar hospitals

Srinagar: One more youth received bullet injuries during clashes at Padgampora Pulwama district Thursday even the encounter between militants and forces ended in the area.
The fresh injured has been referred to Srinagar hospital in critical condition from Awantipora hospital, hospital sources told Kashmir Reader.
They said that 12 injured persons have been referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment from Kakapora, Awantipora and Pampore hospitals.
As reported earlier, clashes between protesters and forces broke out soon after a gunfight started at Padgampora village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Two militants were killed in the gunfight.
A 9th class student Aamir Nazir succumbed to his injuries after hit by bullet at the hands of forces.
Some of the injured civilians in Padgampora clashes have been identified as, Aaqib Ahmad S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O, Suhail Ahmad Ganai, S/O Ghulam Mohammad Ganai, R/O Ratnipora Pulwama, Aamir Ahmad Bhat, S/O Firdous Ahmad, R/O Malangpora, Ubaid Ahmad Dar, S/O Ghulam Mohammad Dar, Adil Ahmad Wagey, Ghulam Ahmad R/0 Marwal, Aaqib Ahmad Dar, S/O Javeed Ahmad, Mehraj Ahmad Ganie S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O Ukhoo Kakapora, Sajad Ahmad Bhat, S/O Ghulam Hassan R/O Malongpora.
