Srinagar: The Central University of Kashmir will hold entrance test to the 5-year integrated programmes on 19 March while the candidates can download admit cards from 12th of March, 2017 onwards from the university website www.cukashmir.ac.in, a spokesman of the university said here Wednesday. The spokesman said the varsity has received overwhelming response to the admission process for its integrated programmes with around 6000 students applying for admission to five programmes against an intake capacity of 195, a varsity spokesman said.
The students have been submitting application forms for entrance test to the 5-year integrated programmes including B.Sc-M.Sc programmes in Physics, Zoology, Biotechnology, Mathematics and B.A L.L.B from 12thof February 2017.
The university has decided to hold the entrance test both in Srinagar and Jammu provinces and has also designated a test centre at New Delhi for the students who have applied from other states of the country. While appreciating the Directorate of Admissions and PRO office for their efforts, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir instructed the officials concerned to take all the measure for hassle free conduct of the examination.
