Over a dozen injured in Tral clashes, 5 referred to Srinagar

Srinagar: Over a dozen protesters were injured during clashes with government forces near encounter site at Tral in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday.
Clashes broke out after youths took to streets in Nazneenpora Haffu and adjoining villages where an encounter is underway between militants and forces since yesterday evening.
A Doctor at Sub district Hospital Tral told Kashmir Reader that 10 persons were brought to Sub District Hospital among which five had pellet injuries in their eyes and were referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment.
A CRPF man also received a stray bullet in his head at Tral camp, sources said.
As reported already two militants and a policeman were killed while four others, including an army major, were injured in the gunfight.
