Civilian killed in Pulwama grenade blast

Srinagar: A civilian was killed while another sustained injuries in south Kashmir’s Pulwama town on Friday after suspected militants hurled a grenade on a CRPF vehicle which missed the target and exploded near it.
SSP Pulwama Mohammad Rayees confirmed the death of a civilian to Kashmir Reader and said that incident took place in Murran Chowk of the town.
The deceased civilian has been identified as Mohammad Ayoub of Gusoo, Pulwama.
One more civilian was injured in the blast while as a CRPF personnel also sustained injuries who was identified as Ct. Dalbir Kiran of 182 battalion.
Sources said that suspected militants hurled a grenade towards a CRPF vehicle injuring two civilians and a CRPF personnel.
The injured were rushed to the hospital were Ayoub succumbed to his injuries.
