Pak authorities hand over 2 Kashmiri youths who had crossed LoC accidentally 2 years ago

Baramulla: Pakistani authorities handed over to their Indian counterparts two Kashmiri youths who had mistakenly crossed into Pakistan administered Kashmir two years ago.
Bilal Ahmed Ahanger, 22, son of Abdul Jabar Ahanger of Gurez and Afsar Yousuf, 23, son Mohammad Yousuf of Tangdar had crossed the LoC “by mistake” in July 2015 and January 2014 from Nikru and Chilyana sectors respectively.
Indian embassy officials had contacted Pakistani authorities last year after the families of the two youths had approached them. Both boys had been in police custody in PaK.
On Saturday afternoon, both boys were handed over to Indian authorities at Kaman post, Uri, on Srinagar Muzafarabad road.
Families of the boys and army, police and civilian officials were present on the occasion.
The Station House Officer of Uri police station told Kashmir Reader that the boys are currently at police station Uri and they would be handed over to their families after investigation and paper work.
