Mentally disabled man detained during naka in Budgam

Budgam: Army and police late last night detained a mentally unstable person at Ahmadpora Tantraypora area of Magam in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Sources said that a joint party of 2 RR Gagarpora and SOG Magam in a routine naka on Ahmadpora-Tantarypora link road– 2 km from Magam town detained a man late last evening.
The man was reportedly detained during the regular cordon and has been shifted to Budgam. He is the resident of Handwara and is not able to speak.
His name couldn’t be known immediately.
A senior police officer while talking to Kashmir Reader said that they have informed his family through the local police station so that he is sent to home.
