Resignations follow cabinet reshuffle

Srinagar: Hours after the cabinet reshuffle, two PDP ministers resigned from the government on Friday. Senior ministers Basharat Bukhari and Imran Ansari resigned soon after MLA Amira Kadal Altaf Bukhari was inducted to the cabinet.
Bukhari was divested of his revenue, relief and rehabilitation portfolio and was assigned horticulture, which many claim miffed him. “I have resigned from the council of ministers today. I have forwarded the letter of resignation to Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti tonight,” Bukhari told PTI.
