Grenade attack in Srinagar, 2 cops injured

Srinagar: Two cops were wounded on Friday after suspected militants lobbed a grenade on a police party in Nowgam area on Srinagar outskirts.
The duo identified as Mohammad Abbas and Rameez Yousuf were on duty at Pohru Chowk when a grenade was lobbed on them around 7 pm. Both the injured were removed to SMHS Hospital for treatment.
Station House Officer of Police Station Nowgam Manzoor Ahmad told Kashmir Reader that the condition of the injured cops is stable. Soon after the attack, reinforcement was rushed to the area to nab the attackers.
