Resistance camp condemns Lahore suicide attack

SRINAGAR: The resistance leadership on Tuesday condemned the suicide bomb attack in Lahore wherein two senior officers including 16 more people were killed.
In a statement issued here, Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geelani while expressing grief over the attack appealed to Pakistan administration to isolate and bring to book those responsible for the attack.
“Pakistan is facing worst type of terrorism. The neighbouring countries are instigating and promoting barbaric and heartless activities in Pakistan,” Geelani alleged.
Expressing condolence and sympathy with the bereaved families, Geelani said such killings tantamount to killing of whole humanity.
Geelani stressed on scholars, intellectuals and Islamic organisations to “condemn those illiterate and semiliterate persons (who commit such acts) and curb this menace”.
A spokesman of Hurriyat Conference (M), in a statement issued here, condemned the terrorist attack in Lahore, Pakistan and expressed sorrow over the loss of precious human lives. He he also expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.
Terming Lahore attack as a “heinous inhuman act against innocent humans”, Chairman Jammu Kashmir liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik, in a statement issued here, said killing innocent humans by attacking on them with bombs and bullets cannot but be termed as “terrorism of worst kind”.
“Such attacks, be these in London Pairs, New York, Delhi, and Lahore or at any other place, should be condemned equally without any discrimination as the perpetuators of acts like these cannot be reckoned as part of human civilisation or mankind,” Malik said.
Expressing solidarity with the families of victims, JKLF chairman prayed for the early recovery of those injured.
Chairman Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah, in a statement, said, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the nation of Pakistan. The heart-wrenching incident has once again proved that the country continues to be worst target of terrorism. The anti-Pakistan elements are hell bent on destabilising the country and are continuously hatching conspiracies against it.”
“The nation of Pakistan must exhibit patience and counter the nefarious designs of forces inimical to peace, prosperity, and progress,” Shah said.
Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM) general secretary Nahida Nasreen while condemning Lahore attack said, “The enemies of Pakistan and Islam can go to any extent in destabilising the country as it is the fort of Islam and Muslims.
Expressing solidarity with the families of victims, Nasreen said people of Kashmir stand with the people of Pakistan at this hour of grief.
