KU students protest against Kulgam killings

Srinagar: Scores of students at the Kashmir University Tuesday held strong protest against what they called highhandedness of the men in uniform in Kulgam two days back.
Pertinently, two civilians were killed and more than two dozen injured in Frisal, Yaripora area of Kulgam district on Sunday in force’s action.
The students started their protest from Naseem Bagh campus and raising pro-freedom and anti-India slogans they marched up to Allama Iqbal Library, sources said.
They said the students were aghast over the force’s action in Kulgam.
They alleged forces of human rights violations in nook and corner of Kashmir, sources said.
Later the students dispersed peacefully.
