JK Bank mourns death of staffers

Srinagar: J&K Bank family across the country held condolence meetings to mourn the untimely death of their four colleagues (Mohan Singh (Branch Head), Ajay Kumar Koul (Executive), Anil Kumar(Executive) & Rakesh Charak(Associate Executive) in a road accident Monday on Jammu – Pathankot highway in Kathua district. They were on their way to duty at Business Unit Pathankot when they met the tragic accident. A major condolence meeting was led by the Chairman & CEO, Parvez Ahmed, at the bank’s corporate headquarters. A two-minute silence was observed in honour of the deceased. Chairman and CEO, Parvez Ahmed later attended the funeral of the deceased. He expressed his grief and sympathy with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.
Meanwhile, Chief Minster Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister Haseeb Drabu expressed grief over the deaths and expressed solidarity with bereaved families.
