Srinagar: As the news of deaths at Frisal, Yaripora spread people staged massive protests inside the District Hospital Anantnag at Janglatmandi and shouted pro-freedom and anti-India slogans on Sunday.
Eyewitnesses said that forces fired teargas shells inside the hospital premises to disperse the protesters.
Officials at the District Hospital said that twenty-five civilian were admitted in the hospital so far four among whom have been referred to Srinagar.
As reported earlier, 4 militants, 2 army men and a civilians were killed during an encounter at Frisal, Yaripora in south Kashmir.
The encounter was followed by massive protests and clashes resulting in the death of another civilian and injuries to scores.
