Train service suspended in Kashmir

Srinagar: Authorities on Thursday suspended Banihal-Baramulla train service fearing violence on eve of parliament attack Afzal Guru’s 4th death anniversary.
Official sources said that train service will remain suspended on Feb 9, 10 and 11 “for the security of passengers.”
Joint resistance leadership has called for shutdown and protest from Feb 9 to 11 to observe death anniversaries of Guru and Maqbool Bhat.
Guru was hanged on Feb 9, 2013 while as Bhat was hanged on Feb 11, 1984 in Tihar Jail, Delhi.
Both were buried in the same jail.
Kashmiris are since then demanding for their mortal remains.
