Army allegedly thrash students, teacher in south Kashmir

Srinagar: Protests erupted in a south Kashmir village after army men allegedly thrashed many including a teacher inside a government tuition centre, reports said on Tuesday.
People, mostly students started protests in Lassipora area of Pulwama district raising pro-freedom and anti-army slogans.
They alleged the army men barged into a government coaching centre and thrashed students and one of their teachers.
Local sources told Kashmir Reader that the teacher was taken to a hospital in an injured state.
