Bullet hits BSF man in Uri

Srinagar: One Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed along the Line of Control in north Kashmir’s Uri sector was critically injured when his service rifle went off accidentally on Thursday.
Police sources said that a BSF constable Karan Singh of 73 battalion received bullet in his neck in the incident while he was performing his duty at Angoor area. The wounded trooper was shifted to military hospital for treatment. His condition was reported critical. There was no word from the BSF on the circumstances leading to the incident.
