Srinagar: Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir Tuesday inaugurated the training cum placement drive under centrally sponsored project UDAAN organized by the varsity’s Central Placement Cell at Nowgam-I academic block here, in collaboration with Experis IT and its partners.
Registrar, Prof. Muhammad Afzal Zargar, Controller of Examinations, Dr. Nazir Ahmad Gilkar, Finance Officer, Bashir Ahmad Haji, Chief Placement Officer, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Nikka, Coordinator, Department of Convergent Journalism, Asif Khan, Assistant Prof. Afaq Alam, Project Head Experis IT, Vinay Gupta, Experis J&K Head, Khalid Bazaz and Talent Edge J&K Head, Faheem Mustafa were among other present on the occasion.
Addressing the aspirants, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir asked them to work with utmost commitment and dedication after placement. “I am sure that you will prove your mettle after getting placement in the companies,” Prof. Mehraj ud Din remarked. He informed the guests that the students studying in the Central University of Kashmir and other higher educational institutions are extremely talented. “Our students just need an opportunity to showcase their talent and once they get it they not only realize their dream of reaching to the top echelons, but also build the stature of the organization they work for,” he added. Prof. Mehraj ud Din Mir wished best to the job aspirants.
