Govt has no report on houses damaged by forces during uprising

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir is compiling the details of persons who lost their lives or eyesight due to pellet firing by security forces or received brutal injuries in the recent law and order disturbance in Kashmir Valley. The government said that details are being collected from various agencies of the government in order to provide ex-gratia relief to the victims of violence.
In a written reply to question of Congress legislator and MLA Shangus Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Chief Minister said that the details about the persons who lost their lives, received injuries or lost their eyesight due to pellets in the recent law and order disturbances in the Valley are being compiled.
The government said that they have no reports of damage of residential houses by the Police and CRPF during the unrest.
