Sacrifices bring cohesion, says Shah

Srinagar: The Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) on Monday paid tributes to three Hizbul Mujahideen militants who died while fighting Indian forces in south Kashmir’s Awoora village of Pahalgam area.
In a statement the party said, “The martyrdom of mujahideen grieves us but we have firm belief that the freedom of Jammu Kashmir will be written with their pious blood.”
A party’s delegation led by Moulana Sajad visited the residences of the slain militants and expressed solidarity with the families and assured them that the whole nation of Jammu Kashmir shares their grief. According to the statement Shabir Ahmad Shah addressed the mourners telephonically. He said the ‘sacrifices of martyrs’ brought the nation and resistance leadership on a single platform and need of the hour is to take forward the movement in a unified manner.
