Resistance leadership calls for Friday protests against Kathua violence

Srinagar: Strongly condemning the attack on Muslims in Kathua, joint resistance leadership on Wednesday appealed people to stage peaceful protests after Friday prayers to express solidarity with the victims of “vandalism and highhandedness of fascist forces” in Jammu.
The joint resistance led by Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik said that the Friday protests should convey a clear and loud message to the communal goons and their supporters that they should forget to see 2017 through the prism of 1947.
“In case they even try to do so, it will be fought with iron hands. Entire populace of Jammu and Kashmir is a single entity and pain or turbulence anywhere will be felt everywhere,” they said appealing Muslim clerics, Imams and Khatibs throughout the state to highlight this grave issue in their Friday sermons as their moral responsibility.
According to the trio, these hapless Muslims were living under fear psychosis for the last 70 years as their ancestors have been “butchered mercilessly under the watchful eyes of the tallest traitor of this unfortunate land”.
“Those raising voice on the plight of Jammu Muslims, should introspect themselves to see the mutilated face of their past and at that time their humanity had lost every sheen to act as mute spectators of massacring more than 5 lakh Muslims, just for their craving for power,” they said.
The trio said that pro-India leaders always played the politics of death and destruction in tune with their masters to pave their way through to the power corridors and build their castles on our rubble.
“All of them climb to the chairs on our dead bodies and blaming each other as killers, is an ample proof that how can the house harbouring butchers of hundreds of innocents, be of any help in soothing the bleeding wounds of the victims. Shedding crocodile tears to prove their innocence can never conceal their cleavers soaked in our blood.”
The resistance leaders said that communal harmony and age old interfaith brotherhood should not be mistaken as our weakness as they can never tolerate any attempt on harming unity. “yes-men of the oppressors must bow too low before them to ensure and prolong their ministerial berth and those blaming others for embracing these masters say that they too are following the same path, but they wickedly praise these killers as “Killer ji”. Killers are killers and nobody on earth can change this narrative.”
