KU students urge varsity to defer exam on Monday

Srinagar: A number of students of Kashmir University on Saturday urged varsity to postpone examination scheduled on Monday in wake of the snowfall in the Valley.
Several students from north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, mainly appearing in their first paper of their courses on Monday, called GNS and said that they were unable to reach their respective rented accommodations in Srinagar due to snow.
“While we had planned to reach our rented accommodation on Friday, weather played a spoil spot and we couldn’t make it even today. Now, we will try to reach tomorrow and it would be hard for us to appear in examination on Monday,” they said.
