4th SAFF CUP: Dar adds another feather as India eves beat Bangladesh in summit clash

Srinagar: A dominant India Women’s Football team defeated Bangladesh women’s Football team 3-1 to win their fourth consecutive South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Women’s Football Championship title at the Kanchenjunga Stadium on Wednesday.
The Indian eves, in the process, are now unbeaten in 19 matches having won 18 and drawn one.
The National Women side is headed by Kashmir University’s (KU) football coach Sajid Yousuf Dar, He guided women’s national team for the second year now.
Adding another feather in his cap, Sajid has been associated with AIFF’s National Football Teams U-14, U-17 at International level at many occasions.
Giving credit to his parent department (KU) Sajid said,”such things wouldn’t have been possible without their support”. I also thank JKFA and State Sports Council for backing me time and again.
Dar is considered as one of the talented coach in India and has also worked as Head Coach for various age groups teams of India.
Kashmir University football coach is a qualified AFC instructor. He also holds AFC C, B and A license in coaching.
