2 Pakistan soldiers killed in along LoC

Srinagar: Two Pakistani soldiers were killed along the Line of Control during exchange of firing on Thursday indicating the rising tension between the two neighboring countries after Uri attack.

“Indian Army conducted surgical strikes on launching pads on the LoC, significant casualties have been caused,” DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh said in a press conference today.

However, Pakistan media quoting Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said two of its soldiers were killed in the firing.  “Pakistani troops befittingly responded to Indian unprovoked firing on the LoC in Bhimber, Hotspring Kel and Lipa sectors,” while denying surgical strikes were carried in Pakistan.
