Italy says pellet guns against peaceful protesters ‘unbearable’

SRINAGAR: Italian defense minister said that use of pellet guns against peaceful protesters in Kashmir is unbearable and cannot be permitted.
According to Pakistan media, Italian defense minister Roberta Pinotti called on president Mamnoon Hussain in Islamabad on Monday and discussed matters of mutual interest, overall regional situation, and Indian ‘atrocities’ in Kashmir.
The minister, as per the reports, said the use of pellet guns against peaceful protesters was unbearable, assuring cooperation in highlighting deteriorating situation in Kashmir at international level.
President Mamnoon urged the international community to extend cooperation in getting stopped the violation of human rights n Kashmir.
The president said the government forces in Kashmir were not even sparing the children. Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, would strongly raise the Kashmir dispute at the UN General Assembly session, he said.
