UNGA’s 71st session begins in New York tomorrow

New York: The UN General Assembly begins its 71st session in New York on tomorrow (Monday).
It would provide a platform to the world leaders to discuss international issues of mutual importance besides having bilateral interaction.
Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will represent Pakistan at the proceedings of the UN General Assembly.
He will address the General Assembly on Wednesday and highlight the ‘unabated human rights violations by Indian forces in Kashmir’.
The Prime Minister will call upon the international community and the United Nations to live up to their promise of ensuring the right to self-determination to the people of Jammu and Kashmir in accordance with UN Security Council resolutions.
