Srinagar: Lashkar-e-Toiba on Monday said that India is sending more forces to Kashmir “to suppress the genuine voices of the people there.”
In a statement mailed to KNS, LeT spokesperson, Dr Abdullah Ghaznavi while quoting the outfit chief, Mehmood Shah, said: “India has failed so far to silent the genuine voices of the people of Kashmir. Now, India is sending more forces to Kashmir to intensify the state terrorism against unarmed civilians.”
While paying tribute to ‘courage’ of people, he said: “Presently, India is trying to suppress the peaceful and non-violent pro-freedom protests in Kashmir, demanding freedom. The day when the non-violent struggle for freedom would be replaced by guns, India will face the burnt. Kashmir will become graveyard for the Indian forces.”
It further expressed resentment over the silence of international community against the “Indian atrocities in Kashmir.’ “India is hatching conspiracies to kill the Hurriyat leaders, deeming that the demand for freedom will come to an end by this,” he added.
The outfit has ‘suggested’ “India to withdraw its troops voluntarily from the Kashmir before it is too late.”
It has also expressed gratitude to the people of Pakistan for expressing solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
