Celebrate Eid with families who lost their kin in uprising: Sikh body asks people

Srinagar: Expressing happiness over the occasion of Eid-Ul-Azha, All Parties Sikh Coordination Committee (APSCC) on Monday asked people to celebrate the festival among the families whose members were either killed or injured during the ongoing uprising.
In a statement APSCC chairman Jagmohan singh Raina said, that Eid is being celebrated at a time when the people of Kashmir are mourning death of around 80 people who got killed in last two months. “The situation demands that the festival is celebrated among the families who lost their dear ones during the unrest and also among those whose families members have been injured,” he said while asking the members of sikh community to visit affected families in their respective areas and share Eid greetings.
