Srinagar: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) today appealed public and authorities to allow free passage to ambulances and hospital staff.
President DAK Dr Nisar ul Hassan in a statement earnestly requested public and authorities to ensure free and safe movement of ambulances and medical staff.
In order to save sick and wounded, it is imperative to facilitate hassle-free movement of ambulances and medical staff.
In the past eight weeks, there have been number of attacks on ambulances and medical personnel by government forces, the statement added.
Also, some miscreants are targeting ambulances and staff to defame public and demean the cause.
Such incidents of disruption of medical services are costing lives which is unacceptable.
